SPÄTZLE ASIAN STYLE

If you don’t already have one, you should order the Spätzlewunder (Muxel’s Magic Spätzle Board) a week before making homemade Spätzle.

Preparing Spätzle Asian Style

Wash the turkey meat and cut into thin strips. Marinate in soy sauce, finely chopped garlic, ginger and Chinese 5 spice. Meanwhile peel and slice the onion, wash the pepper and cut into thin strips. Wash and slice the courgette.
Heat half of the peanut oil in a wok and quickly sear the turkey meat. Remove the meat, add the rest of the oil to the wok and fry the vegetables until still firm to the bite. If you like it hot, add a finely chopped chilli pepper. Prepare the Spätzle according to the basic recipe and set aside. Now put the meat and the finished Spätzle back in the wok with the vegetables and season with salt and pepper to taste. You may need to add more soy sauce. Quickly reheat and voilà.
